Essay Qs: Study and find yourself the answers.

1.The classroom management techniques include more than just behaviour strategies especially when dealing with students with non-disruptive behaviours. What kind of instructional techniques would you use with students who just sit & do nothing productive during the teaching & learning process? Give at least 4 main points with appropriate examples to support your discussion.






2.Lee Canter’s theory of assertive discipline reminds us to recognise positive behaviour as a way of encouraging more of it. Discuss at least 4 ways how a teacher can use assertive approach to deal with discipline problems in the classroom. Give appropriate examples to support your discussion.



 3.In a classroom, it is up to the teacher to correct problematic behaviour as children tent to test boundaries & often get into trouble. Since hitting or screaming at the kids is not acceptable in the school system, a teacher has to take other routes to address the problem. Discuss what you would suggest to a teacher to address negative behaviour to create a more productive learning environment. Give at least 4 main points with appropriate examples to support your discussion.





 4.It is important to think about how your design will impact the way you teach when designing a classroom. Discuss at least 4 of the considerations that you will take into account to facilitate learning & make your students feel safe & welcome. Give appropriate examples to support your discussion.
